AncientCityPhoto Posted March 4, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wrote up a small article on the Luigi cases. I took a bunch of photos showing it and how the flap works in use. This might be helpful to anyone thinking about one. I love it! I wish I never had to take it off! pico Posted March 4, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 4, 2011 Maybe you should have it modified to take Luigi's bottom plate (makes the battery and card accessible without removing bottom or case.
AncientCityPhoto Posted March 4, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted March 4, 2011 I thought about ordering the case with that. Honestly, I wish he could customize a case to somehow work with the RRS L-plate on. I don't mind fast access in the long run. I just wish I didn't have to take it off for tripod use. I know he can put the threading on the bottom of the cases, but I use RRS pano setup for a lot of my work so I need the precise alignment that offers. Either way, I am more than thrilled with the Luigi case overall. It also seems to keep the camera from getting as cold as quickly in freezing temperatures. The M8 outlasts my other cameras in freezing temperatures. It's amazing.
