In situations like this try spotmetering her face, and bracket.

 

We've seen very many examples of beautiful bokeh from digital on this Forum. I believe that what you admire about good bokeh is lens generated, and Leica is very good at that.

Which scanner BTW?

 

Brents comments on shooting into the sun with her are excellent. Would have been a very pleasing look.

 

-1 compensation might block up shadows a bit more, not sure. Not an easy lighting situation to contend with.

Thanks all for the critique, Really appreciated. I do not have shaders and other assistants this is justa snapshot however Brents idea is excellent and i will try it next time. I also need to use tripod more often since this was hand held and not crisp enough. Scanner was LS 5000 ED.

My point about BOKEH was just a plain question and not a sarcasm pls note :)
