elansprint72 Posted January 26, 2007 Share #8 Posted January 26, 2007 Stuart, Your PNG holiday shots have been Nat Geo quality; forgive me for not commenting more often, 60 hr working week has become 65+, I sneak onto the forum during down/uploads, since we went "International" there has been just too much to keep up with. What news of the "dunked in the oggin" digicam? Was it pronounced DOA? Cheers, Pete.

stuny Posted January 27, 2007 Author Share #11 Posted January 27, 2007 Alexander & Paul - Thank you. Pete - Thank you and I hope your slightly lengthened short work week goes back to normal soon :-). Thanks for asking about the FX01 Swimming model. It is DOA, and after a great deal of effort on my part Panasonic USA will be sending a replacement in about another week or two. Two weeks ago I moved my office from the southern tip of Manhattan to the Met Life building (attached the Grand Central) so I miss having a pocket camera to catch a whole new set of NYC images. Soon, though. The saga of the replacement is not appropriate for here, but let me know if you want details.
Peter41951 Posted January 27, 2007 Share #12 Posted January 27, 2007 A lovely series, indeed. You've had such a successful trip to PNG, is there a book on the way?
stuny Posted January 28, 2007 Author Share #13 Posted January 28, 2007 Peter - Thank you. Yesterday I sent a message to an agent regarding a mumorous novel I've completed, as well as mentioning two other projects: One a biography, and the other an exoctic travel book combining Barbara's writing (well, some of mine, too) and my photos. You can get a feeling for her writing on our site.
