This is a picture taken from the raised walkway which runs beside the new 120 London Wall at the corner of London Wall and Moorgate. I shot this through the outter glass wall which is showing the reflection of the Barbican centre behind me.

These plastic toy cameras are just a waste of time, you'll never get a decent shot, why not bin it, sell your house and buy an M8? No worries there. ;)

#1 is a fantastic eye-puzzle, not much wrong with the verticals in #2 either, Big L.

Cheers,

Pete.

Guys

Thanks for the comments. Always helps build my confidence if someone actually likes what I do. I have to say I have been inspired by the results both John and Peter have gotten with these small digicams. I keep the FX-01 with me in my bag since I bought it and like yesterday, where I suddenly had an hour with nothing do, it is a great way of relaxing.

Apologies for not making it clear but I always correct verticals in exterior building shots. My only disappointment is with the slight purple fringing visible even in a reduced size crop.

Yes, the first one is wonderful (and all the better for being b+w) - like a collage done by a madman. And there's that figue kinda half way up the lh side who appears to be standing on one of the glazing bars. Great!

cheers:

Sam

All

Thanks again for the positive comments. It was one of those spur of the moment shots aided by the fact that the little Panasonic FX-01 is so portable.

The building is very strange in that it is built on stilts that are over the original 1960s Barbican raised walkway. If you look closely at the bottom left hand corner of the shot of the building you'll see the walkway extending under the building.

As the outter walls at this point are glass you can stand, almost suspended, at ceiling level and look right through the walls, which is a very cool perspective.
