Overgaard Posted July 11, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is not a great shot, but it appears she forgot to shut her halo off. There is no marks on the film and no appearant reason ... escept she had forgotten to shut if off. It normally does not appear on pictures. Advertisement Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hi Overgaard, Take a look here Saint Robin (explain that!) . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gverdon Posted July 11, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 11, 2006 Thorsten, don't worry, those things disappear definitely between 13 and 18... ;-) BTW, we have the same thermostatic radiator valves... ;-) Gérald
fotografr Posted July 12, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 12, 2006 I've never seen anything like that. Better be careful or someone will make a shrine outside your door and there will be millions making a pilgrimage to see her.
leicamann Posted July 12, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 12, 2006 Why explain it..its special..its precious..keep it that way...some things are best kept..unexplained. I would take the time to specially preserve this image..yes..depending on what culture you grow up in..some would say this is perfectly normal evidence of what they always knew to be true Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
lambroving Posted July 12, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 12, 2006 Thorsten, Nice trick. That's pretty funny and I expect Gérald is correct... Brent, At least she isn't a pizza!
dan_drabek Posted July 12, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 12, 2006 Kind of like the toasted cheese sandwich. You could probably sell prints on eBay for big bucks, but then you would have thousands of nutty people making a pilgrimage to your front yard. gepetto Posted July 12, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 12, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thorsten it looks like well placed newton's rings. Though Robin has always had a certain halo in all the images of her you have shown. Well maybe all except that one Maibritt posted were Robin was making funny faces lying in her stroller. Overgaard Posted July 12, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted July 12, 2006 Halo or Newton, not that it means a lot of difference to me if it one or the other. And neither would surprise me. But what is starnge is that it's a series og 3-4 shots and the camera was placed in shadow. Anyway, I'll have to take a close look at it when I getter better time. andybarton Posted July 12, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 12, 2006 Do all the shots reveal this "manifestation"? Could it be something to do with the Imacon?
Overgaard Posted July 12, 2006 Author Share #10 Posted July 12, 2006 No Andy, it's only this shot in a series of three. And it's no 12 on the slide film and no other shots on the film (or in my career) show things like that. I'll be scanning all three and post when I get back. Herre's a crop. hm1912 Posted July 12, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 12, 2006 Looks like a very interesting reflection of the hair-clip. A great effect though, regardless of how it happened.
