Keith (M) Posted November 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Back in 1995 when I first thought there was a chance of fulfilling an ambition to own an M camera, I bought the Leica M Compendium by Jonathan Eastland. Prior to (finally) joining the ranks of M-owners with an M9, I re-read the book, mainly for info on lenses. I still find it an excellent book to read for many reasons and wondered if there is any intention to publish an update that would include the M9. A quick 'Google' has not revealed anything. Anyone know anything more?

jaapv Posted November 22, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 22, 2010 Why don't you ask him? He has his own forum on : http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=104 And this is one of his posts: Hi Paola,Am pleased you are finding the books useful and hope you are now getting lots of enjoyment using your late father's cameras. A new edition of the Leica-M Compendium is being considered and the work advances step by step. Thanks for your message. regards Jonathan

I wonder how long it typically takes the Mods to approve a new registration on the Rangefinder forum? Still unable to make a post over three days after registering.
