RudyArpia Posted November 1, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just saying hi... I picked up this beauty yesterday and I'm very excited about shooting film. I'm a wedding photographer in Los Angeles and I started with digital but for some reason digital is not doing it completely for me. I'm not saying I'm going to switch 100% but at least I'm looking forward to shooting some personal stuff with the big L. I'm picking up a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.4 to play during my next trip to Spain/France... I'll be posting soon. Cheers!

J_Thompson Posted November 1, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2010 Welcome aboard, Rudy. I also have an M6, love it, but unfortunately it has gotten little use lately ever since the M8 arrived on my doorstep. Something about instant gratification I guess, but am certainly looking forward to seeing your wedding work on the Forum.

Xmas Posted November 1, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 1, 2010 Hi Some people only ever use one lens. There is an (possibly) apocryphal story that one of HCB books had the caveat - 'all the pictures on this book were taken with a Leica and 5cm lens'. Lots of people use 35mm for street/reportage.
