It was good to meet up with old friends as well as those from further afield whom I have only previously encountered on-line in the forum. Apologies that I could not fit my own prints into my camera bag, but thanks to those who brought theirs. It was certainly an interesting experience shooting digital as if was film and it did make me think about my shots more. I look forward to seeing the results of everyone's efforts in due course. From my perspective Brighton turned out to be an excellent choice of venue owing to its rich diversity of cultures, its determination to break with convention, the seaside, the Pier, the Royal Pavilion, and plentiful Victorian buildings. Brighton's weather treated us well and it was very pleasant to see others' prints, meet 'old' friends again and meet some new forum members. Seeing Bill, Pete and Brian again was terrific and meeting Tan with a very nice GF and all the other new faces was great fun. I thought that Brighton was, well just Brighton really! Plenty of photo opportunities and the fixed focal length and ISO made me think a bit! Which is all good. A great day out and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
