Sat in a god-foresaken hole called a "Harvester" in a god-foresaken hole called Crawley.

Never again to both.

It was a good day today though. It was very good to meet see some new faces as well as some old stalwarts.

Bad luck Andy. Well my train got cancelled and I lost my return ticket so am now nearly back in london on overcrowded train. Had a great day though and great seeing you all.

I saw your ticket in back of your mobile in the lunch, but I don't know how it can stick on that. Sorry it too late now.

I have to say that Brighton reminded of why I haven't been back there for circa 20 years, but the saving grace was that it was great to see all you guys again - familiar faces and new!.

Here's to the next time.

A very enjoyable day. It was good to meet up with old friends as well as those from further afield whom I have only previously encountered on-line in the forum. Apologies that I could not fit my own prints into my camera bag, but thanks to those who brought theirs.

It was certainly an interesting experience shooting digital as if was film and it did make me think about my shots more. I look forward to seeing the results of everyone's efforts in due course.

Regards

Mike

Isnt there a phrase about "as you sow, so shall you reap"? Looks like you're doing the reaping in a Harvester.

If you were Jonathan Ross, you would be "weaping".

Apologies, I could not resist. I'll get my coat.

Regards

Mike

Juliet and I had a very enjoyable yet exhausting day. So nice to see all the old faces and some welcome new.

Thanks to the organiser, and for the Leica badges.

Let me add my thanks to those of others. A fine job of organisation by Steve and it was great to see so many photos as they really should be seen - as very fine prints. Great to see Andy's book too - I shall be buying a copy.

My feet have almost recovered!

Regards,

Bill

Thanks from me too, especially to Steve for arranging the Challenge.

From my perspective Brighton turned out to be an excellent choice of venue owing to its rich diversity of cultures, its determination to break with convention, the seaside, the Pier, the Royal Pavilion, and plentiful Victorian buildings.

Brighton's weather treated us well and it was very pleasant to see others' prints, meet 'old' friends again and meet some new forum members.

I'm glad that Vo and Tan, his GF, and Jason made the effort to come along and I hope you all had a pleasant and fulfilling day.

Pete.

I'm a bit late (gardening y'know!), but I would like to add my thanks to Steve for organising the Challenge and a big thanks to Andy for coming 'down south', it was great to meet you at last Andy!

Seeing Bill, Pete and Brian again was terrific and meeting Tan with a very nice GF and all the other new faces was great fun. I thought that Brighton was, well just Brighton really! Plenty of photo opportunities and the fixed focal length and ISO made me think a bit! Which is all good.

A great day out and I thoroughly enjoyed it.:D

Apologies guys, ive been 'on the road' the last couple of days for work and didn't get back until late last night, I really couldn't face the journey this morning!

Poor excuse I know but it's the only one I've got, have a fun day!

...Same for me...:(

Unfortunately because of work committments couldn't make it, but trust everyone had a great day and look forward to seeing the pictures :) !!

Strangely, this man was missing from George's picture.;)
