pauledell Posted September 27, 2010 Share #6 Posted September 27, 2010 Ece, Magnificent composition, colors and sharpnes with the selective focus. The tones are exceptional and really make this picture. Paul

geaibleu Posted September 29, 2010 Share #8 Posted September 29, 2010 Lucky you! Have you ever tasted them raw when they turn purple? I was tricked into doing this many years ago in Morroco... Oh Boy!
daveleo Posted September 29, 2010 Share #9 Posted September 29, 2010 Ece nice treatment on the photo . . . "old world" look. i envy you folks that live in warmer places . . . lots of plants just won't make it through winter here.
allamande Posted September 30, 2010 Author Share #10 Posted September 30, 2010 geaibleu and Dave, Thank you for your comments and I am glad you liked this little tree. I do feel very lucky! geaibleu, I know what you are talking about, and did resist the temptation to taste. They are soaking in water now (changed daily) to get rid of the bitterness. Dave, the feeling is the same at this end (grass is always greener, etc.). Some years back, I bought a couple of Japanese Maple just to see Fall color. The trouble is, the leaves burn to a crisp by September before they get any chance to turn color. Oh well... Ece
