fotografr Posted August 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is some friends of mine after a round of golf and before dinner. It was taken with my X1 and is one reason I love the camera. I'd never have hauled anything larger than the X1 around with me all day, so wouldn't have had this photo of my friends. I could have carried a small P&S, but then I wouldn't have had a large, high quality file to work with. I did a bit of post on it, which I guess is obvious. likalar Posted August 10, 2010 Share #3 Posted August 10, 2010 I really like this! There's a bit of Norman Rockwell there (the room, the light quality, the subtle wardrobe colors), and they've done a good job with repeating the guy "pose", too. Looks like a fun family! Here's as good a reason as any to keep a camera with you at all times. Nice shot! Larry
stuny Posted August 10, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 10, 2010 Brent - I agree with Larry, but only after seeing this on my better monitor at home.
pauledell Posted August 11, 2010 Share #5 Posted August 11, 2010 Brent, A great shot. I love their expressive stances and there is always on in the crowd that has to be different (the guy on the right and you can see it by the smile on his face). A fun shot with excellent results from the X1. Paul

vdb Posted August 11, 2010 Share #7 Posted August 11, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Love this frame. Great how they all are crossing arms except the guy on the end...who seems to anchor the group. Agreevwith the Norman Rockwell reference...really like your dpp.
nippa Posted August 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted August 11, 2010 There's something really nice about that shot perhaps it's the obvious companionship of the group. Definitely one to treasure and to look back on in future years.
