Makes the pictures look very artificial, with no clear reason to do so. Leica lenses have such a beautiful out of focus rendition... A large aperture would do much better here. I guess it's more the fact that we have to treat our digital photos on a computer and with the power of all those editing progs get quickly carried away and finally just ruin a good pic instead of arranging it.
