Peter,

It's probably not difficult as I got a couple there too:p but I like to think they would not post crap there (??!!)

Your photo of manchester is gorgeous BTW, I liked it a lot.

Please, now get something for the X1 photo challenge, theme is weather.

Cheers,

CJ

First day with X1. Very hard to find new Leica stuff around Asia Pacific since the regional distributor has been discharged.

Anyway, mine is 2nd hand, bought from good-old-local camera store nearby my place.

Is the master gallery a big deal ?

I had a pic put on there

Should I be excited ?

i don't find all the photos that compelling, but the value of submitting photos lies in the fact that getting in is not automatic. it's a different way of getting feedback on what the x1 is capable of. i imagine as time goes by some of the original acceptances will be dropped; that part may be feedback on the photographer rather than the camera. another way to learn.

And this is just as the police told me to get off the tracks in Flagstaff (a train just went by and they were plenty loud.. but..)

I'm linking rather than posting inline because I feel viewing landscapes at less than 1024 is not a great experience.

Were all of your shots from San Fran?

Edward

Northern Arizona is beautiful this time of year. Yes all shot in San Fran. The first is an old car dealership that is run n

By the Academy of Art not sure where they got the cars, it was 9 pm through the window. 2nd is a park on Nob hill looking back at the Mark Hopkins, last is on a corner of Hyde, I loved the empty chair. This little X1 is fun.

I used to work in Tucson Arizona for a month every year for almost a decade, until the economic crisis. Can't help but feel how great it would have been if I had the X1 then! Would have gone to the sonoran desert with the little X1 and shoot cactus and stuff!

Having battled some strange health stuff (like a 2 year bout of valley fever - thanks arizona!), and seemingly recovered...this was my first chance to really get out of phoenix since I've had it.. I hope to explore more.

Some of my next shots I hope to come from Jerome, Vulture Mines near Page, airplane graveyard, slot canyon....
