Has anyone visited any of the Leica galleries? What size are the prints being displayed at? Are they displaying pictures taken with the M8 at 11by14 size or bigger if so can you see a difference with the prints produced from a negative? Just wondering..

I've been to both the NY and Tokyo galleries. The Tokyo had a nice, but small, exhibition of Salgado's work in India. Mostly 20x24 prints if I recall - about 16 of them. Upstairs from the showroom which has nice displays of various classic cameras. In the upscale Ginza district.

Last time I visited the NY gallery they had a Eugene Richards retrospective - prints sized from 11x14 to 30x40. I kind of disliked the larger ones - larger not always better imo when it comes to disturbing doc subject matter. Great gallery - always worth a visit.

I recall also visiting a Leica gallery in Bath England but many years ago so memory is hazy. Think they had a Bruce Gilden show up 16x20 prints.
