Bateleur Posted July 5, 2010 Share #12 Posted July 5, 2010 August 21 falls during Sail 2010, Amsterdam. SAIL 2010 / Home - SAIL 2010 vindt 19 t/m 23 augustus 2010 plaats in Amsterdam Maybe a good day to wander past the boats and the people, Leica in hand to record the proceedings for a few hours, after having a cup of coffee somewhere and finishing up with a lunch. Just an idea. Regards Charles
PasMichiel Posted July 6, 2010 Share #13 Posted July 6, 2010 Good Idea. Perhaps with the tele users
Bateleur Posted August 15, 2010 Share #14 Posted August 15, 2010 The weather will be variable on Saturday in Amsterdam it seems, but I'm not a fair weather photographer anyway so I'll be there. If any one is interested in joining me, send a pm and we can make arrangements. Regards Charles
vanhulsenbeek Posted August 16, 2010 Share #15 Posted August 16, 2010 Good idea, but for the huge crowds to be expected then and there So Friday 20 is good for me too. If we really want to do this we might meet at Foto Nivo Schweitzer, (Haarlemmerdijk), and forget about Foto Professional. The latter is not where the action is, no more for a long time. Provided we are not too large a group I might tell them we are coming. From there to Sail is about 30-60 minutes walk - in a Photo Group. (15 at a brisk pace ) We could drink coffee at the Lloyds Hotel, but I fear it will be very very busy.

vanhulsenbeek Posted August 18, 2010 Share #17 Posted August 18, 2010 Dear friends, There are no replies anyway, but I opt out of this meeting, if there ever was one. Saturday will not, repeat not, be good for a group stroll, becuase of the tremendous crowds at Sail. We will loose each other in 5 minutes and it will not be fun. Better another time!
