A lot of flickr users from Japan have images, many of them from the corresponding cameras, the Fuji Natura series (the more expensive one with a 24mm f/1.9 lens). Regardless... yes, it's a fabulous color film! Yes, you will see a bit more grain, but as it's the only 1600 color film, it doesn't matter. alun Posted June 23, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 23, 2010 I was about to ask whether it might be Superia renamed for the Japanese market. I have used all the Superia speeds, including the 1600 and like them. I even like the grain of the 800 and1600. What I like less is their tendency towards red when scanned -- at least, this is the case with the scans I get from my lab. This can be corrected in processing, of course, but recently I have found that scans from Portra NC 400 give me much subtler colours, less colour-shift in scanning and provide files that are easier to work with. BUt if you need a really fast colour film, it has to be the Fuji -- and excellent stuff it is too. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
