martinop Posted December 31, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 31, 2006 Like the breadth and depth + the BW lighting tones (in this composition), and the lead car.
davidmires Posted December 31, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 31, 2006 I love it. I also agree with Allan, regarding your skill as a photographer: Excellent.
ijporter Posted December 31, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 31, 2006 Great shot! However I shudder to think of the amount of lift that the front of the 'vette will generate at speed - understeerus maximus! with best wishes Ian
davidmires Posted December 31, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 31, 2006 Great shot! However I shudder to think of the amount of lift that the front of the 'vette will generate at speed - understeerus maximus! with best wishes Ian Frightening thought, but I'll bet it has enough weight up there to keep the front end planted... johnkuo Posted December 31, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 31, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wonderful use of the super wide. This lens is looking to be a real winner.
Rona!d Posted December 31, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted December 31, 2006 As the letters on the front say: Lift and weight-balance is "OK" (This Vette was a real hammer).
stuny Posted December 31, 2006 Share #9 Posted December 31, 2006 Ron - Fabulous for its drama which is due to the angle, lens selection, depth, framing, and astonishing full tonal range.

elansprint72 Posted December 31, 2006 Share #15 Posted December 31, 2006 Ron, that is a very good shot. Can you explain the lens to me (I'm ignorant in such matters) is that 16, 18, 21 in mm, as in 35mm film focal-length terms, or in that new-fangled digital stuff? What length did you use for this shot? Cheers, Pete.
Rona!d Posted January 1, 2007 Author Share #16 Posted January 1, 2007 Pete, it´s 16/18/21mm at 35mm-fullframe. I think it was at 18 mm, but am not sure.
Gerhardt Isringhaus Posted January 3, 2007 Share #17 Posted January 3, 2007 Ronald, Great shot of a great car! I drove one back in the late '60's. At 130 MPH the front end hankered down and it became remarkably stable. Thanks for the memories! Gerhardt
