It's just the way it was.
Advertisement Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Mungrisdale Church. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Rolo Posted December 30, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 30, 2006 Hi Andy, there's a nice image lurking under the foreground that's worth exploring IMO. I've played with it for ten minutes and I liked the way it was developing. Great sky potential. Nice picture. Rolo
moikle Posted December 30, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 30, 2006 I'm not great lover of B&W. However, this I do like. Mike
jmr Posted December 31, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 31, 2006 Andy, powerful shot - like Rolo, I suspect there's more drama there if you care to chase it.
azzo Posted December 31, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 31, 2006 On the contrary to Mike, i love b7W and this is a good and very well captured B&W image Andy. Best Azzo
stuny Posted December 31, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 31, 2006 Andy - Absolutely delightful composition. However, I think it needs a touch of brightening.
andybarton Posted December 31, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted December 31, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks folks. I too have had another 10 minute play (following some off-screen discussions with various parties ) and have upped the drama and worked on the foreground a tad. Thanks for the suggestions. There is no right answer. Ever.
Peter41951 Posted December 31, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 31, 2006 Andy, a great, moody shot. Glad I'm indoors....
wilfredo Posted January 1, 2007 Share #9 Posted January 1, 2007 Beautiful Andy. I like the clouds in the second shot but I prefer the first shot with less detail in the shadow areas, it makes it more moody and mysterious shot for me. Just goes to show you how subjective this all is. Both versions work. Great shot. Happy New Year, Wilfredo
