While not wishing to muzzle the forum from the outset there are certain subjects that we would do well to exclude because of their inherent divisiveness. There are plenty of other forums and newsgroups on the net that cater for those tastes and needs. The Member's Bar (see how the name has adopted itself already ) should be a forum where members can share, in a relaxed atmosphere, ideas and conversation not wholly related to photography but with wide interest. For example, I have no problem with people talking about cars as long as they don't mind me mentioning important things like cricket. (Seconds out please ...) Pete. All in all, most are interesting discussions, with most people being civil to each other, even if they disagree, much as you would find in any Bar. Even if they are off-topic.
