Beautiful composition with the boy and dog perfectly placed, the dog heading in just the correct direction (slightly to the left), and with the horizon framed by the rocks, making the horizon seem straighter than it would otherwise seem (straighter than straight). The dynamic range was a bit of a challenge in these shots, but as you say, the M8 comes up with the goods in spades if you use a little care. I keep trying to persuade my wife to move back down here (I was brought up in StIves, but now live in East Anglia).
