darkness30 Posted June 3, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 3, 2010 Paul b&w is for me. Thanks for sharing. Mehmet
clinchico Posted June 3, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 3, 2010 Paul Your garden must be a great place to be right now with all them beautiful flowers. The b&w one is for me too. IMO it places more emphasize on the flower it selves rather then onto its surroundings. Great composition, tones, sharpness and lighting. Herb
stuny Posted June 3, 2010 Share #5 Posted June 3, 2010 Paul - Lovely, rich and subtle. I prefer the color.
Louis Posted June 3, 2010 Share #6 Posted June 3, 2010 Paul, You captured beautiful colors. I usually like B/W shots, but here, the colors add a lot to the shot. I think you were very courageous to post both versions; I never dare to!
allamande Posted June 4, 2010 Share #7 Posted June 4, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Paul, You have to post a wider shot of your garden one of these days. I am trying to extrapolate from these beautiful close ups that it must be a lovely place to linger and enjoy nature (and the gardener's hard work ). I love the delicate pink of this rose so much that I would definitely go with color. Ece

pauledell Posted June 5, 2010 Author Share #9 Posted June 5, 2010 Mehmet, Herb, Stuart, Louis, Ece and Able, Thanks for your encouraging comments. They always mean so much to me. Louis, I have a hard time deciding which version I like, so I post them both to see what the rest of you think. Ece, I hate to admit it but our flower garden is part of our landscape around our house. It would not be possible to get them all in one picture.
