Rolo Posted December 24, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) As this is a 'religous' building it seems more appropriate for this time of the year. I captured the image on my travels, hence its publication in this sub Forum. I appreciate your comments and it's actually the only reason why I post. Many thanks for all your encouragement in the past few months and you have a great Christmas.

Tim B Posted December 24, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Paul, It is Wells Cathedral (dedicated to Our Lady and St. Andrew) in the small, picturesque city of Wells in Somerset in the U.K. I used to live in Somerset and this is one of my favourite cathedrals of all. Well worth a visit. There is a fabulous walled and moated Bishop's Palace next to the cathedral, which is unique in the UK. Great photo, Rolo, thanks. Conveys a more ancient atmosphere than one actually feels in the place itself. __ Tim
