wda Posted December 21, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 21, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Driving along the misty roads in Wiltshire this morning I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I glimpsed the subject of my picture this week. On my return journey I realised I had not been daydreaming, so leapt out of my car and put my D2 into action. Raw converted in CS2; quick mask to permit selective blurring to deconflict rubbish in the background and slight sharpening. I hope you like the amusing result. elansprint72 Posted December 21, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 21, 2006 David, very good! Is that "rubbish" in the background a Morris Oxford/Cowley and an Alfasud? If so, you ought to make them an offer. Cheers, Pete.

If so, you ought to make them an offer. Cheers, Pete. Pete, The yard was seemingly full of old vehicles, or perhaps not-so-old vehicles. I think one was a Morris Minor. I used the word 'rubbish' as a generic term for unwanted detail in a picture. David

Michael, I didn't stop long enough to explore the yard but I did notice an MOT notice so perhaps those cars were waiting for their annual inspections. Often one just cannot stop when observing a potential picture. I was fortunate in that I came back past the site a second time. I want return and capture it on film, if possible. Of course, Santa may have moved on! David
