Stealth3kpl Posted March 31, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I never tire of asking silly questions. When I used to purchase velvia it came with an envelope in which to post it for processing. Is this still the case? How about TriX? Do I have to develop it myself? Advertisement Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Hi Stealth3kpl, Take a look here Film processing in UK. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
metalphil Posted April 1, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 1, 2010 Try the following Palm Laboratory Ltd 69 Rea Street Birmingham B5 6BB Tel 0121 622 5504 They will process both TriX and Velvia for you, one of the owners is a Leica user. Phil
earleygallery Posted April 1, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 1, 2010 Another option is the Snappy Snaps chain - I've found them reliable. I'm pretty sure Velvia isn't a process paid film although Fuji do have a processing facility (outsourced as I recall). B&W film is easy to process yourself, you should give it a go. cidereye Posted April 1, 2010 Share #5 Posted April 1, 2010 I use Digital Photo Printing & Developing | Canvas & Dibond Wall Art | Scanning & Digital Retouching - Genie Imaging South London myself and have found them to be excellent with Velvia processing and best of all they only charge £1.99 a film for both E6 or C41 films. Postage is a bit steep but is recorded so it pays to send off a largish batch, turnaround I've always found to be next day too. For Tri-X if you don't want to process it yourself Monoprint are pretty good and charge £6 for Dev+contact sheet:- http://www.monoprint.co.uk/ Plenty of good options out there though, a lot of people like Peak Imaging for E6. cocker Posted April 1, 2010 Share #7 Posted April 1, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Cumbria.Pete OK. If you are ever near Manchester try RS Colour Labs in Didsbury. They only do E6 twice a week but they are good and as a small lab deserve support to keep them going.

I'm considering getting an M6 if I can get my scanner to function so I'll certainly look up their address if I go back to film. Is it DS colour labs? Mike Rawcs Posted April 5, 2010 Share #9 Posted April 5, 2010 Pete, your nearest professional lab will probably be Farnell Photographic in Lancaster. About the Lab Also, Peak Imaging, in Sheffield, are good and reliable with a one day turn around. Mike.
