NordHiker Posted March 26, 2010 Share #23 Posted March 26, 2010 The 90mm 2.8 Elmarit is one of my favourite lenses as well. Some recent examples done with it. (Sorry for posting them again). Go for it! NH Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Hank Taylor Posted March 28, 2010 Share #24 Posted March 28, 2010 Love this lens! Here are a few taken with the M9 at a college production here in Riverside of "Singing In The Rain". I was quite surprise how well they came out considering I was setting in a live audience and trying not to be too conspicuous. That's the beauty of shooting with a Leica. Hank Welcome, dear visitor! microview Posted March 29, 2010 Author Share #25 Posted March 29, 2010 Lens arrived 8.45am (Wilkinson Cameras – their last one in stock) so out on the street to try it out. Cool lens… great out of focus rendering at wide apertures, sharpness and colour. This was 6bit coded, so automatic M9 recognition. Welcome, dear visitor! rsh Posted March 29, 2010 Share #27 Posted March 29, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Had one at one time. Great lens, but I prefer the speed of the 90 Asph.
Hank Taylor Posted March 29, 2010 Share #28 Posted March 29, 2010 is that you with the Speed graphlex on the left? Funny you should say that. At one time the Speed graphlex was the issue camera when I was a photographer in the Marine Corps. Hank

I thought I'd bought the last one that Wilkinson Cameras had about 5 months ago. They must have got another last one ;^) B

Jaws Posted April 2, 2010 Share #31 Posted April 2, 2010 it is superb. Sharp but also smooth. Magic is down the the photographer. No collection of Leica Legends will give even the slightest boost unless you are performing at an exceptional. This optic is very good value and built like a tank.
