I'd like to poll the members of the forum. Which computer system do you use, Mac or PC. I would also like to track which processor, how much RAM, and what color calibration system is being used.

Once I get 50 repsonses I will tally the results for all to review. I will continue with the tally every 25 responses moving forward.

A valid answer would look like this:

PC, P4 1.66mHz, 1mg, Blue eye pro.

If you would like to add more information in your reply for the benefit of the forum feel free. I only ask that you make your poll answer as easy for me to find as possible.

Let the fun begin.

Happy holidays to all.

I support PC's at work but when I go home to work on my images it's a 20in. iMac. Max process 2Gig ram (all it would take) 250gig drive, all Blue keyboard and mouse and SpyderPro2 for color calibration.

If I were buying today it would be one of the 23in. iMacs full loaded.

G5, 1.8 Dual, 3 Gb RAM, 23" Cinema Display, Eye-One profiled.

PowerBook Ti, 550, 768 RAM, Eye-One profiled.

And, besides an M8, I want a 15" MacBook Pro.

Of course not every forum member is going to reply - which is a shame - I'd be curious to know the percentage of members who are Mac users. I would bet it's significantly more than Apple's average market share.

Desktop is an XP PC with 1 gig or RAM and dual 19" monitors

Laptop no 1 is XP with 1 gig of RAM

Laptop no 2 is Macbook with 1.25 gig or RAM - why _do_ Apple ship a half gig machine with 2 memory modules instead of one :-(

All calibrated with a Spyder 2 Pro

Mac, of course... :-)

Funny thing...

Leica is kinda like Apple in the camera world, small but for entusiast/pro's looking

for more than a tool, Canon is the giant like Microsoft, good camera's no doubt but

completly without soul, and in my eyes just a tool...( i used to shoot with Canon, but not anymore...)

Macbook Pro

Mac Pro

M8

...The 3 M's, hehe...

Best Regards
