The last Alina ones I liked for your technique, but did not find the model that interesting. In these (especially#1) everything is ratched up. The light is lush, the model looks more attractive (yes, a personal taste thing), the dress is entrancing in #1, and the light (and soft shadows) and prop (and use of the prop) brings that one up to the pantheon of my favorite Peter hart shots.

Thanks all. I am most proud of the fact that I put the clothes together for this one...one of my failings as a fashion photog Why? Because I am simply a portraitist at heart! I have a lot of shoots planned over the coming month and will post when I think the results warrant it.

Very interesting and nice looking model.

The background I find "depressingly grey" and for me it ruins the shot. The light is great and it has - as pointed out - a nice satin look.

The model has a great 60'ties and 70'ties beuty look and you should ultilize that in the props used and the background.

If I imagine the first shot, taken exactly like that and with that light, but in a exotic Hollywood or Venice hotel foyer - it would be a totally awesome shot.

Here is a link I found recently which might inspire you. That athmosphere! http://www.chateaumarmont.com

Else it is 10-4, perfect, great, wonderful ... and all ... work.
