You have shown us the slideshow image which is stretched. You need to go back into the group, edit, slideshow, slideshow, uncheck 'scale images'. That will unfuzz your slideshow for starters. Your thumbnail in the gallery is sharp and looks fine, but since you have toggled off the exif, file details, and sharing the rest is speculation. Presumably when you upload humungus files to Zenfoloio this wont be as much of a problem, because they will be shrunk to slideshow. Your image at Lanscape is 196k 960 wide, dont know if it is the same as the Zenfolios.

I just used the option slideshow to show the image easily, but happens in the normal galleries and I see it in another zenfolio users. No matter which camera or file. If you like to see the exif is no problem.. I have a jpg file about 10MB and I can see it well in my monitor. When I upload to zenfolio the image change and I see different colours in the same monitor. My calibrated eizo monitor(RGB) does not fool me. When I see this image in the forum (changing just the image size) I can see the normal colours.

Once I asked zenfolio and they told me they don't change anything.

Here you have the link in a normal gallerie: Zenfolio | Miguel Massanet Amer | Upload

And the exif

In the monitor of my father happens the same. I use aRGB

Right, but do you convert your CS4 colorspace to sRGB, before your make your final jpg? I think not, seeing you EXIF above. I would suggest that you, for a matter of record, send Zenfolio a jpg made in sRGB colorspace and see what happens!

I read this in the Zenfolio helpfiles: "Zenfolio temporarily converts your photos to the sRGB color space before generating display images to correctly convert true colors for online presentation. For the best print quality, only if necessary, we convert photographs to the color space used by the photofinishing lab."

Now I'm starting to understand... I'm working with the space colour aRGB. When I upload to zenfolio they transform my files in sRGB making my files much more saturated. If I want to get my files as I want I have to assign sRGB before uploading. I've notice that when I do that my files loose some saturation so after uploading will recover the normal colours.

All this process is a bit complicated for me.

Thank you very much. It's been really helpful.

I've been using Zefolio for a couple of years and am generally happy with it. It is reasonably priced, can be customised and is very easy to upload images to. The only recent change they have made, which I don't like, is to increase the image size when viewing as a slide show. It used to be full image size, (which was great as I posted mine at 1000 pixels wide) but then they increased it to screen size. Therefore the images I posted at 1000 pixels wide, whilst not looking too bad, are not as crisp as I would have wanted. Hope this helps.

BTW: I used to have my own site but it was taking me too much time to make up my own web pages.

My hosting service is Yahoo. For creating the site I use Simple Viewer Pro. The standard version is integrated into Lightroom's web module, but the $45 pro version lets you customize just about everything. Once you understand how customization works, it's easy to use and maintain sites. I like the simple, clean look it offers.

It's been three years and wondering what sites folks are using now?

Want to post old family shots from 10 to 40 years go and some current vacation and family shots to be accessed by invitees only. Don't mind paying to avoid anyone copying illegally and do not want family and friends harassed with ads and the like.

Many thanks

Ed

P.S. Jaap, are you still using Zenfolio?

I'll quote myself. I've since switched from developing my own site to using Zenfolio. What a relief. Couldn't be more pleased.
