Guest Posted February 23, 2010 Share #22 Posted February 23, 2010 Right, we missed on the X1 forum the most important news of a genius three piece cam, expected at the end of the year. It'll have the popular EWF, adding one more component, for those who like that.
lct Posted February 23, 2010 Share #23 Posted February 23, 2010 The next Foveon based Sigma EVIL sounds interesting as well.
ptu Posted February 24, 2010 Share #24 Posted February 24, 2010 The next Foveon based Sigma EVIL sounds interesting as well. that also sounds interesting. I had SD14 before X1. It was good camera with big quirks in bad places for my kinda photography. As my next camera "purchase" I dig out my old Yashica 44 and start shooting with that one. lct Posted February 25, 2010 Share #27 Posted February 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Samsung looks good. Novoflex has unveiled adapters for Leica R, Olympus OM and other lenses. Novoflex shows adapters for Samsung NX: Digital Photography Review Small lenses like Zuikos 21/2, 28/2 or a Cron-R 50/2 could be nice on it. Remains to see how does the EVF work with manual lenses. Interesting indeed, thanks Imants.
Guest stnami Posted February 25, 2010 Share #28 Posted February 25, 2010 Despite the Samsung hipe and the grief of the MFT panaoly crowd, they have come up with a very useful camera. Sure the leicas, olys and others look better but cover it with black tape and it will look like a m9. US$699 with lens a bargain.................... Guest Posted February 26, 2010 Share #30 Posted February 26, 2010 Let's patiently wait and see if Sony incorporates into their new camera the second dealbreaker besides the memory stick: namely a body which could be, like Samsung's NX 100, too thick to accept M-mount lenses with an adapter.
