the last in my series on mr. N

lucite model backlighted on the table was taken with the D2; hand was taken with the LX-3 and layered and modified in the GIMP

as this thread is "using light" i have allowed myself some serious latitude in doing pre- and post- process.

go back and look at my responses to your photos .... i think maybe one was negative (?), all the rest were very very positive (i love your stuff).

but let me challenge you if i may, and you can challenge me back.

i would like you to create a warm soft gentle glowing moderate contrast image (something with low drama and low "impact") and post it here under "using light".

i will never pretend that i can match your stuff (i cannot and that's that) , so i won't go in a toe-to-toe slugout with you, but i must be fair and allow you to come back with a challenge for me.

what do you say ?

i hope you take this in a very friendly manner as i offer it.

Hi Dave,

I just came across this post this very moment.

Of course that this has been taken in a friendly manner my friend.

I accept the 'challenge'. The problem is, "What can I come up with?!" :o

ps Am running very late for work.
