photophile Posted January 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I would like to use a 1959 Yashinon 50 1.8 screw mount , off the Yashica YF Nicca ( M3 copy ) on my M8. What is the best way to adapt the lens..without altering it at all. Milch adapters? All advice welcome. It is a beautiful camera and a lens with marvelous character. Thanks. doubice Posted January 25, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2010 There is no need to permanently altering the lens. All you have to do is to buy an LTM to M mount adapter. Availlable on the Big Auction Site; I would however recommend Cameraquest and their Voigtländer LTM to M Adapter II. Andy True, all the M8 EXIF will display (with current firmware....) is the focal length. But - this will be the case with all coded lenses, even those produced and coded by Leica.
