J_Thompson Posted January 11, 2010 Share #8 Posted January 11, 2010 Sure, he'll sell it to you for $5,500, but you'll also have to buy the battery from him for $2,000. Shipping's a couple of hundred more plus the extended warranty....
thompsonkirk Posted January 11, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 11, 2010 I did a bit of Internet searching & found that the Adrian Farnell who has recently offered other cameras for sale has a phone number is in the +44 70.... series. If you Google these phone digits you find that "+44 70 numbers belong to international call forwarding services" in GB & are sometimes used for scams. Not incriminating, but not exactly reassuring! Sherwood Nash Posted January 11, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 11, 2010 Just google: adrian.farnell@gmail.com and you'll find a trail a mile long, of very similar high end items for sale across all sorts of ad sites and forums including astronomy and music. Sometimes he says he's based in London, New York or Kuala Lumpur. Buyer beware. Sherwood
