I just offered a suggestion of a fix for another poster in the post processing forum. They haven't responded to my fix - but give it a shot.

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/digital-post-processing-forum/111278-capture-one-registration-problem.html

"Assuming you are on a Mac.

Close the program.

Go into your preferences folder (user folder / library / preferences)

Find capture one preferences -

com.phaseone.catureone.LSSSharedFileList.plist

come.phaseone.captureone.plist

Throw them away

restart program and register again.

This is based on version 4 - the file names may be different for version 3, inside the preferences folder you can do a search for capture and throw away any relevant files - just make sure the program is not running.

If that doesn't work, download appzapper trial - drag program to appzapper, throw away related files, reinstall."

Dante, You are not alone, many people are caught up with a 31 Dec expiration. According to the NY Capture One people it is some code carried over from pre-Y2K work - yes, I know the copyright was 2006, I am just repeating.By the way my computer is a PC.

It happened with my LE 3.7 on the 31st of Dec. Phase One NY gave me three fixes: do nothing except set the date back on my computer or wait til they rewrite the program or download version 4.8.3 which they assured me would work with my key. I did so and all is well except I had to cope with a very different version of C1, but it does quite a bit more and (for what it is worth), will work with an M9 also.

I suggest you try to download and activate 4.8.3 with your key and if it does not work call C1 or make a case on-line. Hope this helps, regards, ron
