Capture one registration problem

Advertisement (gone after registration)

I`ve been using capture one 3.7.7 since March

 

Done all registration steps

 

Now it says pre-release software version has expired

 

I trie register again, with the activation code who came with my M8, get a message saying its good to go, please restart program, when i do it, one more time i get the message tthat pre release version has expired and that i need to buy and activate the version

 

What a joke...

 

Any ideas >?

Assuming you are on a Mac.

 

Close the program.

 

Go into your preferences folder (user folder / library / preferences)

 

Find capture one preferences -

com.phaseone.catureone.LSSSharedFileList.plist

come.phaseone.captureone.plist

Throw them away

restart program and register again.

 

This is based on version 4 - the file names may be different for version 3, inside the preferences folder you can do a search for capture and throw away any relevant files - just make sure the program is not running.

 

If that doesn't work, download appzapper trial - drag program to appzapper, throw away related files, reinstall.

 

Sidenote - is frank black your actual name or a reference to Millennium? I'm guessing the latter!

I don't know about Mac specific issues, but in my experience the capture one support is very good. Register a problem with them at their site and they should promptly correct any problem for you.
