steed Posted January 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 6, 2010 That was special. Great cars captured greatly! If I commit malpractice or stuff my car into a lamppost today because I was thinking about your images, it will be on your conscience. Speaking of the devil, my bride, daughters and I plan to go to Goodwood in 2010 for the Festival of Speed. I hope to return the favor with posts of my own photos...IIIf or IIIa? Regards and thanks again! John W

topoxforddoc Posted January 9, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted January 9, 2010 Gents, Thank you very much for taking the time to comment. Steed, I may see you at Goodwood. If you're into nostalgia, then you just MUST go to the Revival in September. Best wishes,
Mystic Posted January 9, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 9, 2010 What a wonderful series, but number 1 and 5 are absolutely magnificent.
steed Posted January 11, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 11, 2010 Thanks for the suggestion. For scheduling reasons, it turns out that the 2010 Festival of Speed, currently set for July 2-4, is the only event that works for us. We live in the US and have two daughters, one still in university, whose schedules need to be coordinated. This year the FOS theme is Italian cars, which are the next best thing to British cars. Any advice that you can offer about what to do/what to avoid would be greatly appreciated. This is a once in a lifetime experience for me, and I would like to do it right (consistent with not boring the wife and daughters to death). Your images really get me in the mood-sort of motor porn!
