lykaman Posted January 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2010 Superb, I went to college in Cricklewood, N. London, very near there (Staples Corner) was the factory where the Bentley's were built, spent many hours just standing and watching the beasties being born""" There are a few BIg Bentley's here in the states (CA)..always a very interesting story to hear & tell regarding these beautiful machines.. topoxforddoc Posted January 4, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2010 Pete, Would be a lot more interesting seeing them at Tripoli or Rouen! Nice shot. Tough on those drums as they hit the chicane - neither car was famed for its stopping power. Best wishes
elansprint72 Posted January 6, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted January 6, 2010 DL4 and Charlie, thanks. I'm a bit puzzled by the exhaust arrangement on the Bentley; it clearly started out as a 3ltr, but.... is it an Speed Six motor, or an Eight litre? Why are they not in line? I'll hunt it down this season which (VSCC) starts next week
