Estupendo trabajo;). Un abrazo - BR
gverdon Posted July 7, 2006 Share #14 Posted July 7, 2006 The only thing I don't like in this dreamy shot is the polluted water... Couldn't you find a cleaner spot? ;-) Gérald
marc_dufour Posted July 7, 2006 Author Share #15 Posted July 7, 2006 John, Ed, Firoze I'm really glad it transmits positive feelings to all of you. It's the kind of picture I like to see in large format, and leave it to seize me. Thanks a lot.
marc_dufour Posted July 7, 2006 Author Share #16 Posted July 7, 2006 Gérald, The only things there are in the water are some seaweeds, very similar to the posidonia that you can see in the Mediterranean Sea. It's an indication of very clean ecosystem, and waters are, really, absolutly limpid and crystalline. Almost too much, because there is few plancton and, therefore, less life than others seas, like Indian Ocean, or Indopacific region. Marc
uulrich Posted July 7, 2006 Share #17 Posted July 7, 2006 Marc; this is really good work. I wonder what stock agencies could make out of it. :-) Was there any kind of filter involved? Sorry for this question but I use a laptop so I can never be sure if that what you posted is what I see on my screen. Thanks.
marc_dufour Posted July 7, 2006 Author Share #18 Posted July 7, 2006 Uwe, I'm really glad you like the picture. I don't know what you see in your monitor. I use a Sony calibrated one. But I don't use any filter when I do photographs. It's a limiting factor, I know, but I like to catch what I really see :-) Thanks for looking and comment.
