leicamann Posted December 5, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 5, 2009 Two points..the lower part can just be "suggested"..too much texture + dark , draws the eye back and over again to that spot....cause you naturally want to find out whats going on there... so I would just suggest it to the point that it still holds the tension. Secondly the saturation is so high that it blows out the natural palette of what is actually going on. If you enjoy this kind of exaggerated color , fine. If you find it adding colors that are not actually there and dropping lots of beautiful subtleties..then you need to set the saturation to low on the camera settings...unless its Halloween or the Circus..then punching up the color becomes a type of enhancement.
