exile Posted March 28, 2012 Share #345 Posted March 28, 2012 Contrary for my earlier post about a city visit, for multi-day hiking in the hills, I will take: M9 21/2.8 ZM 40/2 rokkor CLE 90/2.8 elmarit-M spare card and battery, gorillapod, lens cloth, every-ready case, dry bag. 21-40-90 is very good. All are flare resistant, high contrast, and resolve very well. They are each a nice compromise between speed and size.

exile Posted March 29, 2012 Share #356 Posted March 29, 2012 Err... Charger? I’m sure you’ll find a socket somewhere. Yup, I'll take a charger for pub/car, but it will stay in the car while we hike and will probably never get used. I am an absolute miser when it comes to battery usage. I switch my camera OFF after each shot, and I don't review images beyond an occasional histogram check. But I did forget to mention my essential filters: - polarisier. - R72 visible light cut, IR transmissive.
