Speenth Posted November 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi' all, I went for a hike on the Hohe Wand today, It was cold and foggy all morning, but shortly after midday the sun burst through the clouds. 1,000 feet of sheer cliff below, Austria remained in grey cloud all day. The images of the cliff edge do not do justice to the awesome drop. It's a long way straight down from the rocky top of the High Wall. The fog just adds to the sense of the void. The little memorial is to some terrible massacre of 145 Austrian and German soldiers in 1945. M8, Summicrons 35 and 50.

leicamann Posted November 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 23, 2009 Ok.. some of these are excellent shots..but honestly pasting them together like some University Billboard does absolutely no justice to these images, please post single at a time, or create a slideshow and post it on Youtube and give us a link or get a Zenfolio or some even Google Picassa site for your photos to be viewed. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
