Wonka Posted November 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I thought I would post a few pix that I was able to take today with my M9. Today was the first day that I was really able to take it out and try a few photos. This is my first rangefinder camera and Leica. I am very pleased, but I still need plenty of practice. Anyway, here are some photos showing the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, the Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington and a VIP's helicopter. All taken with M9 and 35mm Summicron. Overgaard Posted November 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 22, 2009 Very nice helicopter shot. Very tempting the way the light lies on the cockpit, Is that the one that comes with the M7 Hermes edition?
henry joeng Posted November 22, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 22, 2009 Nice shoots, Wonka. I particularly like the one of stadium and the helicopter control panel. The 35mm summicron is finally a true 35mm lens now. It is lucky for you to use M9 as the first digital rangefinder, and you don't need to pass through the 1.33 crop factor in M8 era.... stuny Posted November 23, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 23, 2009 Willie - Lovely compositions, and congratulations on your new, super camera. I encourage you to honor your images by taking the time to optimize them in post processing. These all see a bit flat, and in need of a touch of punching up, perhaps something like this:
