Advertisement Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 Hi Rolo, Take a look here Lakeside. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ijporter Posted December 1, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 1, 2006 Hi Rolo, I really like the atmosphere and the composition - these may shots look easy, but the balance is critical and you've used the clouds and the other 'ingredients' to make it all happen. With best wishes, Ian
leicamann Posted December 1, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 1, 2006 This is actually a good picture, the scan does it no justice at all. Unless you do 2 things..1) print it and scan the print on a flatbed..you 'll get way more detail and luminosity. Or if you still want to scan, the best results are from a 16 pass scan, yes it takes about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how much RAM you have . Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann

elansprint72 Posted December 1, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 1, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yup, another winner! I can see that this one is not Heaton Park Lake, where is it though? Peak District is my guess, one of those places with a Salmon fishery. Cheers, Pete.

stuny Posted December 1, 2006 Share #11 Posted December 1, 2006 Rolo - I really like the air of portent that your strong contrast and full tonal range have added to the very successful composition.

samwells Posted December 2, 2006 Share #13 Posted December 2, 2006 Wow, that's superb. Tremendous light on those upturned boats, like silvery beached porpoises. Thanx for showing: Sam
