Bixi Posted November 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all M9 owners around the world! Today I got curious how many photographs I've taken with my M9 so far. September 17th was my first day with the M9. I took 4669 images at this point. I pretty much have my camera with me always when I leave the house. How many images have other people taken? Best and enjoy, Bixi

Via Jeffrey's Exif viewer I uploaded the last photo which was taken with my M9. The number which I got I converted with google to decimal. I wonder if there is an easier way to find out. Best, Bixi With Mac: open the last photo with "preview", then tools/show inspector/more info/exif. The Image Unique ID is there, you have just to convert from hexacimal to decimal. This is a tool to make the conversion HEXADECIMAL to BINARY conversion, HEX to Decimal converter, Hexdecimal convertor Cheers, Ario

Overgaard Posted November 3, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 3, 2009 7,000+ It had a very busy first week after September 11 when it arrived. I pretty much wear it all the time but it has developed into a shooting instrument and not so much a subject for testing anymore.
adli Posted November 3, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 3, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) 5-7 thousand shots in a few weeks. Now I understand why people complaint about the buffer speed of the M9, they are misusing it as a machine gun :-)

rickp13 Posted November 3, 2009 Share #12 Posted November 3, 2009 hello all thanks for posting this shutter count procedure. i followed the process and converted Image Unique ID00000000000000000000000000001f9c to 8092 decimal. further down in Jeffrey's Exif Viewer, under Maker notes, i found Image ID Number 8092 if that's my shutter count, then it looks like the decimal number is available in the viewer without an additional conversion step. right?? thanks rick
