stuny Posted November 27, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2006 Charles - Welcome to the Forum. These are beautiful, sensitive protraits, and I'll bet that your subject loved all three photos. Your subject is lovely, and I very much like your framing, posing and lighting. Please keep posting.
JHAG Posted November 27, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 27, 2006 @Zizi First one is really sweet. The silk brown of her skin matching the leather brown of the oblique seat, the whiteness of her blouse matching the off-white light of the window
gareth_c Posted November 27, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2006 They are all great but Number 1 is my favourite, for the tone, depth of field and light. Hope to see lots more from you...

baloo Posted November 27, 2006 Share #6 Posted November 27, 2006 Hi! Nice portrait, love the first one, the second I find to be missing some contrast or may be to much dodging in the shadow, other wise, nice work!

abrewer Posted November 28, 2006 Share #9 Posted November 28, 2006 Hi Charles! Welcome to the Forum! I would have to say images one and three are my favorites. I like the composition of number one, with the subtle OOF areas and the light, and the color contrast of the woman's dress on the brown leather...very rich-looking. Number three's sensitivity to this person is remarkable: excellently done. Just a reminder, and this is not to single you out or anything but simply a restatement of what the regulars already know, because of our close relationship with Leica we ask that the photos posted here be made with Leica equipment or to have some relationship to Leica if they aren't. Please keep posting. You have a wonderful talent and it's great to see it shared here on our Forum. Thanks. Allan
