pauledell Posted December 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 8, 2014 Adam, A fine series. I don't think that all your subjects appeared too receptive to being photographed according to their expressions. Paul
Louis Posted December 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 8, 2014 Fantastic!.... I love this set! I don't think it would be very wise for us to meet! Our taste for some "subjects" is very close! That may create some problems....
A miller Posted December 8, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted December 8, 2014 Many thanks, Paul and Louis. Paul - Rest assured that no one was "upset" in the making of these photos. Perhaps slightly surprised. Only a very small percentage of New Yorkers walk around alone with actual smiles on their face. I would bet that I would get much of this kind of "receptiveness" from most of these people if I stopped them and simply asked for directions. Best, Adam

Hank Taylor Posted December 8, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 8, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Adam, using flash in street shots is not always effective but in shot 3 and 7 I feel these 2 are most sucessful. Hank

XVarior Posted December 9, 2014 Share #10 Posted December 9, 2014 2 and 3, but hey, flash?! On the streets??? Isn't street photography supposed to be Discreet :-) you showed those who think so that it's not supposed to be that way at all. Love it.
A miller Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted December 9, 2014 Sincere thanks, Hank and XV I find flash to come in handy in low light situations as well as a warm up for regular "close up" shooting.
