This is the North Pier at Blackpool this afternoon, around 3 o'clock.

I though it might be, although I have only seen Blackpool in films. Image definitely gives a feeling for the season. You've captured it well here.

In films is the best way... believe me :)

Mind you, once my company wins its bid to redevelop a significant part of the town, the place will be very different.

I suspect I know what you mean...we have similar seaside attractions in New Jersey(Asbury Park, Point Pleasant, Seaside Heights) - some have seen better days, and others remain at the top of their game. I've always liked shooting on the boardwalks during the off season. Can be quite fascinating....

Pete

If Storm Thorgerson is reading, he can contact me any time, day or night. LOL! :)

These birds where flying round here en mass for at least half an hour and were generally tending to roost on the pier buildings closer to the promenade.
