wilfredo Posted August 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) On a separate thread (http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/customer-forum/93299-aug-22nd-celebrate-hcb-milwaukee.html) Troy F. dreamed up an event to celebrate the 101st birthday of Henri Cartier-Bresson. I don't think there is another photographer in the world that contributed so much towards creating the mystique surrounding Leica M cameras. Since most of us are all around the world and can't be part of Troy's wonderful HCB 101 event I propose that we share some of our own favorite "decisive moment" photographs in memory of one of the most legendary and inspiring photographer's of our times. RIP. Here are a couple of mine. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! wilfredo Posted August 7, 2009 Author Share #15 Posted August 7, 2009 "To take photographs is to hold one's breath when all faculties converge in the face of fleeting reality. It is at that moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy." HCB
