I understand that the M world is a golden world, but I want remember you guys that 8 people out of 10 carry around cameras as big as the SL2-s and even bigger (Canon and Nikon), often with huge zooms. Not many people around has the money to fund M cameras and lenses. I socially use my SL2-S and travel with it with no problems. Lenses such as 35 Cron SL and 50 Cron Sl are small and light (camera and lens is 1200gr). I also sold my M240 after using the Sl2-s, and at my age i don't regret it. My good pictures rate has quite improved.

Weight is not very different. An M11 with a Lux 50/1.4 Asph is about 1000 grams, An SL2-S with a Cron 50/2 Asph is 1150. Different if we consider APOs or Zooms.

If you're a Pro, then, maybe APO could be your choice. If (like me) you're not a pro, the APO is just a waste of money. With the money of an APO SL lens you can buy two wonderful lenses, the 35/2 Asph. and the 50/2 Asph. and save maybe some bills for cigarettes or several beers. 35 and 50 are small, very light and totally outstanding in IQ. I do not think you can see the difference with the APOs looking at a picture online.

You will just have to think "I want that picture taken" and the camera will take the exact picture you want without leaving home. It's MIC, Mnemonic Intelligence Camera.

Next to this they will deliver a camera that leave home all alone, knows where to go, take pictures by itself, knows exactly what must be photographed, recognize any kind of subject (from a flea to a jumbo jet) and then comes back home and put the perfect pictures it took on the computer. All this while the Photographer reads a book in his bed.

I quite like the SL2-s noise when there is some. Maybe I'm wrong but looks like they made some improvement of the noise that now look more similar at film's noise. Anybody else thinks like this?
