Whilst the people are not the primary focus in this shot, it was their activities that captured my interest. I don't think a longer lens would have allowed the capture. M8, 35 'cron - f5.6 (I think)

Superb composition, angle, play of the arcs of the bridge with the rectilinear building, tonal range, sharpness and contrast. Nice sky.

I agree with Stuart, the composition is superb. The curve formed by the street and bridge is wonderful. The tones of the lower 3/4 of the photo are in perfect contrast to the sky. Nicely done all around.

This picture offers so much in its various guises - B&W conversions of various textures and also in colour. I saw the scene from a moving canal boat and really had to react quickly, zone focusing and hoping that it worked.

Huw Ge - Fascinating shot...the even lighting and the texture of the sky itself make the background look like a flat stage set. I like the curve of the bridge, and the diagonal opposition of the two figures. Thanks for showing.
