"7xx.xxx" is always a pleasure to see...:)

My "old ladies" included #702658, 705101, 705694 and 707160. I had also five "younger 7s" : 738314, 744871, 746062, 749919 and 777809.

The oldest one had all the early features, except the "squared" upper fairing edges : no frame preselection lever, four screws securing top fairing, red slot on rewind knob, triangular strap lugs, speed dial sequence B-1-2-5-10-25-50-100-250-500-1000 and film reminder indicator /10DIN 10-25, ASA 6-200. It had been delivered as ISUMO to the Belgian importer Nivelles on April 3, 1954.

Beautiful lady, JC. My oldest M3 is 709688. I always wondered about the shutter speed dial, which is hiny and looks different from the rest. But yours looks exactly the same. So do you think that shutter speed dial is original?

Lex
