How to use the ELDIA

I just came from a secondhand optical shop to buy an operating microscope, when I noticed a Leica box behind some other stuff. I could take it with me (for free :)) and found it is a dia duplicator (I think). There is no way of attaching it to a camera, so how is one supposed to use it?

The ELDIA is a duplicating apparatus

you load the body with Panchro film, in an inactinic light, for copy (negative or positive)and on the hinged window you shift the original film when this one is framed you expose with a calibrated light the time is necessary.

next you turn the knob to tne next exposure and the original to the frame and so on.

Interesting :) Thank you. For display then, not for use.;)

Unless one has a Dia-archive and hates scanners... :)... but is a nice item for the "body" has anyway a certain "Leica feel"... was made for lot of years ('27 to '60 about) and has some variations in engravings: from the box, yours is surely a "recent" item... the oldest had the old style red box like this (from ebay)
